Toorak Road Laundry Services is an eco friendly business. We have taken the following measures to minimize our impact on the environment and promote sustainability in our business.
- We provide energy efficient front loading washing machines, awarded with excellent water and energy ratings.
- We only use biodegradable protective covers for shirts, suits, doonas, blankets etc, which are biologically broken down into their base compounds.
- Our serviced washes are primarily bagged in re-usable or cotton fabric carry bags.
- We drip dry shirts to save energy and to prolong fabric durability hence give a superior ironing finish.
- We use environmentally friendly heat pump hot water units, which are three times more efficient than conventional electric water heaters.
- We recycled all used papers and also provide a recycled hanger and plastic covers service to reduce waste.
- We use smaller flyers and receipts to reduce our paper consumption.
